Cold and flu season is here, on top of the still ongoing COVID pandemic. The number of cases of flu in the U.S. last year was low because people were still at home and masking up. But this year, cases could go up.
As parents and caregivers, we want our kids to grow up confident, with an amazing sense of self-worth, a whole lot of resilience and respect for others, and the world around them.
As adults, we know persistence and tenacity are important traits when the going becomes tough.
Parent empowerment is a core concept of our program, as is the conviction that parents are capable of being the primary teachers and nurturers for their own children.
Parents can impart values and rules that help their children grow and thrive. As problems and stresses occur, a strong bond of love and respect helps parents and children cope more effectively and make positive decisions together.
